Beacon Hill believes that parents are a key factor in the academic success of each child. Therefore, through out all of our programs, we promote parental involvement. This program has been developed to promote educational exchanges and network opportunities that will empower parents in the areas of: accelerated learning concepts, college preparation and academic enrichment.
Various workshops are held for parents of students in the Beacon Hill Academy. These workshops address topics/concepts such as parenting skills, college preparation, test taking skills, and much more. All workshops are conducted by facilitators/experts or by staff and parents through panel discussions on pre-selected topics or issues. Participation through attendance at Workshops and Committee volunteering is encouraged. All workshops are currently free of charge.
